Dear Tony:
I thought I should drop you a note to let you know how satisfied we are with the performance of your SAW CLAWS in our circular saws here at Cersosimo Lumber Company. They have proven to be cost effective over standard bits with as many as 16 sharpenings before needing to be retipped. Other benefits from their use are: smoother rough sawn lumber, less deviation within the cut, squarer cants going to the resaw, reduced saw maintenance time for the hammer man, and the mill is easier to troubleshoot when a lumber problem arises.
It's my belief that by eliminating the non-precision hand swaging of the tooth, and the fact that we bring our saws to the grinder instead of the grinder to the saws, these are the reasons why the SAW CLAW has been an integral part of our circular saw program at Cersosimo Lumber Company.

Dear Tony:
We have been using SAW CLAWS in our F pattern saws for about eighteen months. We had tried a number of carbide bits over the last four years in an effort to extend saw running times. We constantly ran into variations in the bits that either resulted in inconsistant saw performance, or took significant time in the filing room to correct. The SAW CLAWS have been uniform and given us consistantly excellent performance.
We have quieter saws, higher feed rates, and have reduced saw maintenance related costs by 25 %. The cost includes bits, supply, and labor.
The durability of the bits has been impressive, showing virtually no wear after ten or more re-tips. We send the bits back to SAW PAW for re-tipping; turnaround times are short, and they come back the same as new.

SAW PAW Corporation:
I have been in the saw mill business for over 30 years. I have seen a lot of new products come and go, but I have never seen a new product that works and does what SAW CLAW does. Not only did it increase our production, but it made our rough-cut lumber look like it was cut with a hand saw instead of a circle saw.
We have been using SAW CLAW for about six months. I have noticed that with the new SAW CLAW bits we are holding the tension in our circle saw much longer than we did with the old bit and shank system.
At our location we cut mostly cypress. We do not run a debarker, so the sand and the bark play a number on the saw bit, but with SAW CLAW we are noticing a lot less sharpening is required. This alone is a savings for us.
I would recommend that all circle mills try at least one set of SAW CLAW bits and see for themselves the difference these bits can make in the everyday running of their mill.
SAW PAW you have done a great job on a new product. Keep it up!

Dear Tony,
Just a short letter to say your SAW CLAW inserted blades have been well received on our markets. In our area, New Zealand/Austrailia/Papua New Guinea, etc, we have had great success with the thinner than standard kerf of the 5.6mm SAW CLAWs. By reducing kerf, our clients (mostly portable sawmillers) have found their recovery rate much improved, leading to increased profit. The name-of-the-game in this competitive market.
Many operators work in remote areas. Servicing regular brazed tungsten-tipped saws is all but impossible. Returning them to us can take days - sometimes having to use a helicopter to ferry them out of the bush. Now, instead of requiring ten (10) regular brazed TCT saws for their operation, a couple of insert blades and a few packs of claws do the job.
We have found a swing in the popularity of inserted saws fitted with your tungsten-tipped, one-peice claws. The only way to go. My congratulations to you on a fine product.

SAW PAW Corporation:
I would like to express my feelings about SAW CLAW bits.
As a sawyer of 20 years, I have tried different types of bits that all do the same thing, but the performance and endurance of SAW CLAW has far exceeded any I have ever used. In addition to the durability of the product, I have found that the cuts SAW CLAW makes on the lumber are straighter and more polished than all the other brands. I believe that this is due to the one-peice construction of the SAW CLAW, instead of the shank and bit versions others carry.
Keep up the good work SAW PAW!
